There’s a moment most families don’t forget. Not because it’s dramatic, but because it’s quietly overwhelming. It’s the realization that something has changed.
- Maybe meals are being forgotten.
- Maybe medications feel confusing.
- Maybe there’s been a fall or a close call.
And suddenly, you’re worrying about what could happen when no one is around. That’s where the search begins. And that’s where Beautiful Minds begins.
Beautiful Minds is a residential assisted living and memory care home designed for older adults who need daily support in a calm, familiar environment. Unlike large facilities, our home offers a quieter, more personal setting with fewer residents, allowing our caregivers to build real relationships and provide consistent, attentive care.
This isn’t institutional care. It’s care that feels human, predictable, and comforting, especially for residents who thrive in routines. Many families tell us after visiting, “This feels like where Mom belongs,” and that feeling matters, because choosing care isn’t just about services. It’s about peace of mind, safety, and knowing your loved one is truly being cared for.

I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care my great aunt receives at Beautiful Minds. The staff’s attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly stand out. They go above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable and well cared for, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Communication has been excellent, giving our family peace of mind and you can’t put a price on that. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, high-quality care for their loved ones.
Our Approach
Our approach is simple. We believe care should feel respectful, calm, and personal.
- Dignity over rushing
- Connection over routine
- Support without taking away independence
- Every resident is treated as a person, not a diagnosis
- A safe, comforting space where families feel confident they made the right choice
Family Communication Matters
Families deserve to feel supported too, not left guessing.
- Clear communication and regular updates
- Transparency you can trust
- A team that keeps you included every step of the way
- If you feel overwhelmed, you don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out
- Sometimes the best next step is simply visiting, asking questions, and seeing the home in person
My daughter toured senior living communities everywhere, and the moment she chose this one, I was amazed. I literally thought, “Oh my gosh… I get to live here?!” Five years later, and I still love it.

Built on a foundation of clinical experience and a deep commitment to senior care, the organization was created to deliver high-quality, compassionate assisted living services families can trust.

Josh Adams
Co-Founder & Managing Member
Josh Adams earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University and began his career as a Critical Care nurse at a Level 1 trauma center at University Medical Center. He has 7 years of experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse and spent 5 years as a travel nurse, working in 9 facilities across the U.S. While in nursing school, he volunteered at senior centers throughout the New Orleans metro area.
His passion for senior care is personal. After his grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2012, Josh cared for her until her passing in 2016, which deepened his commitment to improving quality care for seniors. He later became a Residential Assisted Living Specialist through the Residential Assisted Living Academy, receiving specialized Memory Care training. As a RALS™, he holds one of the highest professional certifications in the industry.
Josh also believes quality care includes healthy living. He worked as a personal trainer in New Orleans for nearly 8 years and promotes wellness through nutritious food and exercise for the seniors he serves. Outside of healthcare, he has trained internationally in Salsa and Bachata and has taught dance at events across the country.

Dr. Thomas Nguyen
Co-Founder & Managing Member
Dr. Thomas Nguyen is a clinical neuropsychologist and owner of two private neuropsychology practices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, master’s from Purdue University, and doctorate from the University of North Texas. He completed his internship at the Dallas VA and postdoctoral residency at the Houston VA, and has held leadership roles in several neuropsychology organizations.
Before opening his clinics, Dr. Nguyen worked at Baylor Scott and White for three years. Over the past two years, he has conducted psychological and neuropsychological evaluations internationally, working with highly diverse populations. A major focus of his work is supporting the psychological and cognitive health of older adults. He believes in a holistic approach to improving quality of life and guiding families through the challenges of aging. After his grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, he committed to creating long-term quality care solutions for seniors, which led to his goal of opening residential assisted living facilities.
Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys sports, exploring different cuisines, and spending time with his wife and three young children.
